  • The Logo

The Emerald Society logo shows the State of Wisconsin amid the Claddagh, a symbol of friendship, loyalty, and love. The crossed sword, gavel, and key symbolize the three branches of the criminal justice system: law enforcement, courts, and corrections. "The motto dúchas agus gairm le chéile" is Gaelic, meaning, "heritage and profession together."
